I'll be taking early retirement next year unless something changes because working 16 hour days for the same money I used to get in 8 hours - plus now no benefits and before had them isn't pleasant. Cost of living goes up and all we have are India and EMRs to compete with. Sigh. I have applied for numerous jobs out of this field and rarely get even acknowledgement of an application. I can't do physical labor due to bad hips with arthritis so I'm limited in what I can do.
