I wouldn't be happy either and would feel the same as you. Those demands are totally unreasonable for anyone, IC or employee. Sure, we have schedules that we're supposed to adhere to, some do, some don't, and those who don't eventually get the boot. They send around SOS emails and I ignore them. About the worst thing is if you don't show up and you don't forewarn them, you're out. No questions asked, no excuses accepted, it's adios amigos, find another job somewhere else.
