For one thing, real contractors make real money, not the pittance that MTs are making. For another thing, showing up at someone's house to do a job requires more of a warning than when you log on a computer to do work. I wouldn't let someone in my house, even a contractor, if I didn't know when they would be there. I think you need to compare apples to apples. Big difference.
