Lesson learned. Folks, if you're considering going into the MT field (or any field!), do independent research BEFORE signing up for a class. Independent research doesn't mean asking a school who teaches the field. Of course they are are going to hype it up to make it look great. Even the Department of Labor is out of the loop, at least when I checked a few years back. They were saying $40,000 per year when it had already tanked. Maybe some people are making that, but not most anymore.
