After talking to people from L and I, AG, and IRS (among others), I'm not going to worry about it anymore. I can't do anything about it and can't find anyone in a position of authority interested in helping me. So, for me, it's not worth the trouble anymore. It would be great to have over a month's wages but I can't seem to find a way to do that. Hope others have better luck than me.
