I didn't work for this company, but yes, you are correct. Regardless of the fact that they have gone out of business, they are still 100% required to pay you the wages that are owed to you. I am a former Keystrokes employee, so I know all about this. If you were employee status at this company, you can report them to the labor board in both your own state as well as the state where this company was located in. If you were an IC, then it becomes a civil matter and you would have to take them to small claims court, unfortunately.
