Yes, absolutely contact your state's AG's office. While the labor board can't help if you were an IC, the AG's office should absolutely be able to send them a letter demanding that they pay you "or else." This is theft of services and they could get into very serious legal trouble if they are reported to the proper authorities. Good luck to everyone.
