I got out of the MT biz completely in 2012 when I couldn't take it anymore. Had been editing since 2005. I stayed because of the decent health insurance, but was getting nauseated and couldn't sleep. In 2010 I started sending out resumes for clerical office work, and finally, in 2012 something came up for me.

I'm since retired, but folks, it's not going to happen if you don't try to make it happen. Start now. May take a few months, may take a few years, but if you do nothing, it won't happen at all.
