So the company that I've been contracting with for the last year and a half has an abundance of work, pays weekly and has NEVER been late, usually a day early, and is in need of people who can work independently. It's not medical transcription, though my background in medical transcription has helped with a lot of it. A lot of general transcription, Board of Veterans Appeals, legal, honestly, a little bit of everything. The pay is great -- anywhere from 1.50 to 2.00 a page, or 0.90 to 1.45 per minute of dictation.
