That's another kicker...the working at home part. So many were so accommodating last year and now...nope! Companies have very short memories.
I have contacted my local hospitals, record offices, and small clinics. They want a data entry certificate, hospital/clinic experience of at least 5 years, and computer experience with their programs that they don't want to train you for. Such a mess. But I'm on a lot of job/hospital lists so I keep hoping something will show up!
I'm considering going with a local agency but not quite there yet. I've spoken with them. They kept showing me jobs they said were based on my resume but very clearly were not. When I tried to explain that being a medical transcriptionist does not qualify me to be a nurse, doctor, medical assistant, or computer tech specialist, they didn't seem to understand.
