the weeks you get enough hours in and pay and go over what you would qualify for in unemployment benefits, you will not get any unemployment that week. Sometimes then you have to start the process over but you keep filing each week. If you have a couple weeks in a row where things look back to normal and you file, more than likely Unemployment will CLOSE your claim and say you no longer qualify. However, if things slow up again you can reopen it. That is why I say unless you really need the money, do not put any PTO on in any week you are going to file, because it will more than likely put you over the amount you could make and still qualify for some benefits and shoot your right back out of the system.
