I saw that a local ortho practice was requiring specific scribe certification for a scribe job they had open (a new thing for them, they’ve had transcriptionists and I suppose still do.)
Googling on the web, I see more than one school or company (legit?) who are jumping on the bandwagon to offer coursework and certification. One of them charges nearly $2000.
Personally I don’t think this idea is going to last very long.
