time and money wasted by sending it out to crappy and half-azz staffed services, time and money wasted on out of TAT work and penalties paid, then having the quality severely compromised when it gets sneaked overseas to transcribe, then comes back with multiple errors, and then patients complaining or the lawsuit in the not too distant future. It's a pure fuster cluck.
Waste $10 now to save $1 in the future. The stupidity of administrative types and bean counters as well as the greed of the CEOs who want to keep their big mansions on the hill and their lake house and skiing vacations, summers in Europe, the image they have to maintain, and all that BS required on an inflated CEO salary.
Let the lawsuit hit and I can guarantee you the settlement and attorney fees wont come out of CEO salaries and their custom-designed office costs. It will come from salaries of the people who do the real work.
