MT Stars does not allow help wanted advertisements that pay less than 4/8 CPL on our website. VBC is a scam used against transcriptionists to pay them less than what we at MT Stars consider the minimum acceptable rate for our profession.
Approximately 20% of all characters typed in medical transcription are spaces. Thus paying 8 cpl for VBC works out to 6.4 CPL in official industry CPL measurements. We do not allow advertisements for jobs that pay this low, and we encourage transcriptionists who are looking for work not to apply for jobs like this.
