My SSD is at least somewhat faster than a regular hard drive. - But mainly, I feel safer with it.

After having a hard drive crash on my last computer and then buying a refurb that had a clicking, grinding hard drive (from New Egg) that I returned ASAP, I decided to go with SSD.

This computer is a refurb too (from PCs for People), but I upgraded to the SSD after those last two HD failures and couldn't be happier. Except for the more limited space, of course.
