Make a resume, fine tune your skills to what they are looking for and at least try. Take something, anything, just to start getting "Customer Service" recent experience on a resume.

There's no honor, no pride left any more in MT, and certainly no decent money to speak of.

Yeah, there will be someone who brags up how well they are still doing in MT with their 100% consistent QA and their big 800 lph to be making $30/hour equivalent. Whatever.
