I was honest about my feelings on the survey recently. I hope they listen. sm - Another PFer

I pretty much agree with what has been said. They have rules for the sake of rules, it seems, with no praise, but a prompt bash over the head for any little infraction. I am fortunate that my TL is not as witchy as some of the others that I have experienced when she has been gone and someone else filled in, but even she can come across as rather cold sometimes. I am sure that they have cold-hearted people they have to answer to as well, so I try to shrug it off when she seems uncaring. Bottom line, I need the benefits so I will stay, but there is no joy with the job. I try to focus on the positives, like the flexible schedule and affordable insurance, but some days it does get to me and I feel like there is an anvil over my head, waiting to drop. I pass my reviews and just try to keep my head down and be a good little worker bee, but I miss the days when I actually enjoyed working. Someone said this is a place where happiness goes to die, and I tend to agree.
