Millions of these young people are heavy in debt because of their student loans and that's preventing them from buying homes, etc. It must be a terribly hopeless kind of feeling for them. How in the world are they going to pay off these huge loans?? Some total close to $100,000. Talk about false pretenses. Lots of them were preyed upon to take out these student loans for more money than they really needed. Until and unless the government forgives all this debt or does something, these young people are stuck with it. I don't see how they'll ever have much of a chance to get ahead.
