Unless you're one of those with a backup husband with a good job, I dont know how you can really make it with a check never knowing if it's on time or not.

Someone said they adjusted all their automatic bill payments later. Maybe that works, but how do you pay your rent late?

This is the most fracked up mess I've ever heard of, late pay on a fairly regular basis for some but not for others.

Even more pathetic are the ones who bend over and take it willingly.
