horrible...they got more time to "make the transition" or get out than we did with our buyout/merge, but what a crock. Whoever wrote this article cannot even spell M*MODAL correct (spelled it M-MODEL at one spot). These must be some of the "new members" being welcomed that we got an email about. No words. Marshfield MT's, if you make the choice to go with M*MODAL, yes, you might be kept on your account for a short time, until it moves to voice recognition. Once on VR, over time that account will go back in-house to be done by the docs, nurses, PA's, etc. or maybe a scribe, and you will be without work more than with work or put into a mass pool of crap accounts and dictators and not be able to make any lines to pay you a decent wage. All this onboarding, transitioning to VR can usually be accomplished in 90 days or less, then you will have another 2-3 months with work drying up, until you will be out of work almost all the time. Try to get out now if you can. There is no future with M*MODAL and it will only get worse. (really no future with any of these MTSOs or medical transcription along these lines at least)
