I think someone else posted about widow's SSI at 60 sometime in the past, but somewhere I got that you had to have been married at least 10 years to collect that and I was only married to my late husband for 8 years. I told that to a friend recently and she told me to call SS because she didn't think that was right. I haven't had a chance to do that yet, but will.
Thank you for the idea. I will post the results of the call to the SS office.
