I agree - Been there

My department was outsourced about 5 years ago, not to Nuance but to another vendor. We were given the option of going to work for that company. Out of 12 people, no one took the offer even though they made all kinds of promises. My employer was pretty fair, offering severance or employment within the organization; most of us were placed in other departments. I applied for UE but never had to use it because I got called back to work. It is my understanding that you don't have to take a job that is offered if the pay is less, or you can file partial UE. A layoff is a legitimate reason to file a claim. I would only reiterate what others have said, try to stay within your organization if you are able, even if you have to take a pay cut, you will still be better off. I am sorry this happened, I remember what a stressful time that was. Good luck, I hope everything turns out okay for you.
