in this case I agree with what you said about offshoring and watching what happens in the next quarter. Plus, it appears N was really pushing their Dragon speech rec, and we all know how gullible administrators can be when it comes to saving money.
I was already planning on finding a non-MT job in Nov, but now thinking I should hold on until Dec/Jan to see if there is another layoff wave I can get caught in. My state has a retraining program but you have to be collecting UE. Hmmm.
