per federal mandates all facilities had to adhere to EMR or face loss of federal reimbursements. The final phase was in 2015 I believe.
It's way more than EMR. It's Dragon, it's outsourcing, offshoring, clients transitioning from one vendor to another or possibly using both.
I also believe the MTSOs who do outsourced work from Nuance are only receiving dribbles of work right now while Nuance decides what their next move is. They need to keep some clients and some work.
Ricci is retiring in 2018, so do the math.
