For all the haters of SS. The COO has responded to our questions/concerns. So please, let's let the dissing be over. We all know that MT is a dying profession, it will never again be what it was, it is only a PT job even though you work FT, benefits a thing of the past. At least we finally were given an explanation. Whether you choose to believe it or not is up to you. I for one, accept it and hope there will be some work in the future. I still think this is one of the better companies given what transcription is now days. Unless you are fortunate to be working at a hospital or one of the smaller MTSO, you will be doing SR, you will be making only 4 cpl or less, and you will have no benefits. For people who are the sole provider, you will need to find something else. Transcription now seems only for someone who wants some pocket change.
