based on your production the previous month. The majority of work is SR so the AHR is based on SR production according the grid. Imagine is all your work had been straight typing the prior month. Your AHR would be most likely double what it is now since the current is figured on majority of ASR production. Point is, they recognized quickly in that paying for 100% straight typing rate for all jobs would cost MUCH more than the AHR rate. The grid was never designed to pay out a high percentage of straight typing work, only to look that way (the possibility).
