Actually, I do. The states of mind are not gender-related - Probity

but personality- and character-related. I'm a liberal, and the kind of behavior you call for is just not characteristic of us. We have our faults, and plenty of them, but not that kind.

As for excellent people leaving this field, that had happened by most of a decade ago. By then we were well into this mean, business-serving, labor-exploiting laissez-faire era and the writing was on our paychecks, not just the wall.

Most of us who stayed were older women approaching retirement, or younger but with health, family or geographic issues that made them decide to stay and work for low-end clerical pay rather than retrain for other work.

As for those who entered in spite of all of us practically shouting and waving burning rags in warning, they made their choice. Some of them entered because they were trapped at home and desperate to make any money at all, and some because they imagined they wouldn't really have to work, but most of those with "excellent talent" potential eventually ate their losses and left. Kind of implicit in what it takes to be "excellent" is refusal to be a loser.

Btw, 2018 will be your next chance to say a big no to the agents of the wealthy who are serving them from congress right now. Ranting on forums is worth about what you're paid for it.
