This is just another phrase they are programming in. This "the speech machine will learn" is a farce. If it was truly learning, it would not be adding so much. Phil once admitted to me that they were programming in phrases as a solution to increasing the capability of ASR, which, IMO, is such wrong thinking and dangerous. I have had a fair number of headings and content added to operative reports that was never dictated. Including specimens submitted! While these specimens could be associated with that particular type of surgery, it was not dictated! The added content, especially code status, adds time to editing because I question if I missed it and spend extra time triple checking.
