when honestly, for me at least, a lot of times it has been dumb luck - posting my resume at the right time when I had whatever skills the person was looking for or a friend telling me about some great job etc. I WANT to help people, but the truth is, and you obviously know this, you have to help yourself. Post the resume, network, research and find the little companies, etc., and even then it is sometimes a crap shoot. I have certainly had my share of less than great jobs on the way to finding something that works for me and makes me happy. I'm really disappointed in some of these others.
