Nuance

I agree it is the most egregious part of - the Nuance experience

Every time I type that reviewed/XX and accept my grievous error, I feel like such an idiot because here I am, making little enough as it is, checking that it's a-okay for them to dock my pay even more because I left out a word. Are we idiots or what?

Yes, we are idiots and they just love to rub our noses in it. I think a real sadistic personality (ies?) are behind that FIESA monstrosity.

I have tried to hold out, then got repeated emails and I think maybe your TSM gets in a bit of trouble if you don't sign off, so since I like my TSM I eventually do it.

Now if I make an error I go in there right away, check to see if it's truly an error, then sign off immediately.

I find it frustrating that on the email we get detailing our "error" they do not list the date of transcription because it makes it a lot quicker if I can just go to the report and have it ready to listen to once I go into the dreaded FIESA and see what awful crime I have committed.

I never EVER check FIESA otherwise. I do NOT check for "client feedback" because I figure they should really put it in the specs rather than me keeping endless notes of their preferences.

I figure the way I do it is STILL not fairly compensated (that stuff about it being included in your line rate is indeed nonsense), but I am at least minimizing my time spent as much as possible.

Oh, and also I use creative passwords for FIESA. They said you had to use symbols, numbers, etc., they don't seem to have a rule about swear words though, and that makes my infrequent logins to FIESA at least slightly less of a chore...
