Maybe I’m just paranoid, but this sounds so fishy. There was something about her job post that sent a flag up for me, but I can’t quite put my finger on it. Have you actually talked to a real person? Have they interviewed you? Have you discussed rates? Do you have a contract? These are things I would want to know before I share any personal information. I’m an IC (ex Nuance) and I’ve run across some shady websites job hunting since last February, so I’m more than a little suspicious of anyone I “meet” on the Internet. The two companies I contract with only sent me this stuff after lengthy testing and interviewing. One sent me a contract to just look over to see if I was interested, but nothing about banking or security checks until I accepted the position. Forgive me if I sound too paranoid!
