Think again - beenthere

Strength in numbers? First, not everyone is unhappy. There are oldsters that actually like VR because it’s easier on their finger joints. There are those that will do whatever it takes for benefits. There are youngsters who are not terminology-wise enough to do straight typing, fresh out of school. Reference the word board for examples. There is a new generation of “medical language specialists” that do not get the professional career we once all enjoyed as transcriptionists. So your strength in numbers is watered down by the people who, yes, like working from their home even for minimum wage. Minimum wage out of your home is still better than minimum wage out of McDonalds because -- well, you know why. You’re home. So for you to get a massive walk-out organized, you would have to have EVERYONE in order to make any impact. Not going to happen. So stop with this Norma Rae fantasy and get on with solving your own personal anger. Stop lobbying to save the buggy whip.
