Petition - Me too Posted: Sep 29th, 2016 - 8:40 am In Reply to: Petition - lynlou
It's a bit of a catch-22. If people on this board are commenting on the verbiage in the petition and won't sign because it contains certain things, how do you expect legislators to take it seriously? I am not signing because I am not comfortable with some of the language, some of it comes off sounding like someone's rant. It's great that Darlene took the initiative but s steering committee or a co-author might have carried more weight. I'm an ex-MT, forced out through circumstances beyond my control. I'm thankful that MT sustained me for over 40 years, but I know when I'm licked. I'm still interested in what happens in this profession, but I'm sorry to say that I'm not going to fight something as futile as this. Good luck to all of you, hope you can make a difference.
