That is, in fact, not how it works. They CAN tell you a window of time you are allowed to work in their system (whether it be always, every Monday and Friday, etc.)...they cannot, however, require you to work any of those hours. They can require a daily min line count, in order to continue your contract, but they cannot tell you what hours to work or such.
