How long - Backwoods Typist

Just curious, when given a "formal verbal warning," how much longer until the ax drops? What has been your experience? Got one today and am pretty soon I am next on the butcher block. So tired of trying when it's damn if you, damn if you don't. I no longer see the point. TIA.
