The breeding of apathy - sm

The more we are nitpicked, hounded, beaten down, and with such little pay, the less and less we care about this job.  The less we care, the more mistakes we make, the more time we take, and the less adherent we are to schedules.  I'm sure many of us would much rather get fired and collect UE than do this job any longer, or are just waiting for retirement.

If MM truly wanted to increase quality, they would do everything to keep their employees happy.  Instead, they cater to their customers.  Which is all fine and dandy, but the less happy the employees, the more likely they'll lose customers due to quality.

You'd think they would teach this kind of stuff in business school.  It's pretty common sense.
