They are not trying to phase out US MTs, though accounts do get sent overseas I'm sure. The problem is low pay. They pay too little now to keep or attract good MTs, other than those of us who are willing to put up with it for personal reasons. And they lose people due to the metrics and hassles, why? Because it doesn't pay well. If they want to keep talented people and maintain the high metrics, they will need to raise the pay. Period.
