If I am not mistaken, they are trying to market themselves as supplemental to Epic type programs, too, which is why we are seeing the partial dictations. But yes, absolutely, the less they pay, the fewer talented MTs they will retain and the more major contracts they will lose. Fact, MModal. There is no debating this. You want high quality, high production, you want MTs willing to tolerate lousy audio and often being denied requested PTO? You need to pay a decent wage, one that reflects this level of skill and inspires them to tolerate the less appealing metrics. Pure and simple. Or yes, you will lose contracts as you lose your skilled MTs.
