...I have been downsized for the last 10 years, hopping from one good company to the next as each of them closed, and I have filed for TAA each time, and never once been approved. It is maddening because I could easily transition into another career such as coding, etc, but do not have the money on my own and would need help. When steel workers and airline or tech workers lose their jobs, I notice they always qualify.

It just is not fair.
