I an effort to save everyone else the drama, I would steer clear of this company. I sent my resume and this is the rude email response I got, most rude and ridiculous I have seen in a LONG time:
These reports are for SSI and pay $5 per report and some are as low as $3 report.
The dictations on those range from 7 to 12 minutes.
The work is based off of templates and modify based on what the doctor dictates
The average pay time is NET 45 to NET 60. You bill me the first week of the month for the work you did the previous month and I get 2 to 3 weeks from date of receipt of your invoice to verify the work listed on the invoice and put in for payment.
If you type work for my private ortho client it pays 6 cents a line and consists of the doctor’s review of his visit with his patient(s).
I will need you to work at least one day of the weekend. No Exceptions.
Turnaround time is 2 days.
You are a subcontractor and you ARE NOT paid for vacations.
You will probably have to work on holidays
If you take a lot of vacations in a year this is not the job for you
Sometimes it is slow around holidays usually Thanksgiving or Christmas and some years it is busy.
