If you continue to work and therefore pay into SS, your SS benefits should continue to increase. This is not a state by state issue, it's a federal guideline. If you have continued to work since collecting SS at any age, you should check into why your SS benefits have not steadily increased each year (beyond a cost of living increase which does not occur every year).
Everyone receives a booklet when you first collect SS and you can go on line and check this information, or you can call your local office. You can also make an appointment at your local office and have someone go over your benefits to be sure you are receiving the correct amount.
