Help, I am in a perdictament. I am an IC transcriptionist for a local doctor. I am contracted, but work in his office as an independent contractor. In order to stay that way, he is requiring me to get insurance. He calls it cyber liability insurance. While I do have access to some information on patients, it is done on his office computer and I do not have access to it from my home. He says that I need to get this insurance. I have heard it would not be worth it. Can anyone point me in the right direction on this or tell me if I even need to get it.
