Does he control the hours in which you work? Does he supervise your work? If you are an IC, why are you not working in YOUR office? It sounds like maybe he is trying to have his cake and eat it, too. You need to review the IRS guidelines on IC versus employee and ask yourself which one you are. Call the IRS and ask them about this. I knew of a company that got in real (i.e., as in federal) trouble for having people work in the company's office during hours the company set and under the company's supervision and calling them ICs instead of employees. One of the "IC's" called them on it and they got their tailfeathers singed. Something does not sound kosher to me. Ask the IRS.
