Job applications asking minimum salary required - I hate this part. SM

I have no idea what a minimum salary is around here, other than minimum wage and I'm sure not working for that. 

It's not a required category to fill out on the application.  I know when I left a major hospital organization a few years ago the range was about 16-20/hr tops, depending on your experience.

I don't have any idea what to ask for around here, other than making a best guess.  It's not a required category so I guess I'll skip it for now and wait to see if they call. 

Would you fill something in, or not?
