In 1990 (think how long ago that was!) we paid our ICs 11 cpl. (And although ICs are not typically given a bonus, we did--$500 each at Christmas.) I would laugh at the 7 cpl offered and tell them that you recognize it as the insult it is. As the late, great Vera Pyle used to say: PAY PEANUTS, GET MONKEYS. Don't fall for this kind of pay. Tell them to double that and you will talk to them.
