that people forget how to communicate, don't clock in on time, and forget we have rules. My first at home job, after working in-house for most of my career, was a disaster. I hated the isolation, so I found a hospital job as quickly as I could. Those were the days when we still had those jobs. Then came the day when the in-house job went away (laid everyone off and outsourced). That was almost 5 years ago. I treat my at-home job as if it is an in-house job. I'm on time. I clock in and out for breaks, which we are allowed and encouraged to take. I communicate respectfully when necessary. In other words, I treat it like any job I want to keep by following the rules. Everything housework-wise is taken care of before I enter my office and "work." We can be supportive of each other on this forum with word help and answering other general questions. As far as people griping about stuff, I have gripes too but don't really post about them. I sometimes agree with these posts and sometimes not. I try to stay positive and don't sweat the small stuff, as dwelling on gripes can have a cumulative effect and cause stress, which we don't really need. All in all, you can't lump everyone into the same package. We're all different, so take the gripes with a grain of salt.
