Question about turning in notice... - KatG

I have finally received a job offer outside of MT and am waiting for the background check to come back so I can put in my notice. I was just wondering if I should provide a 2 weeks notice, or if I should just quit without notice? I've heard stories of people being let go immediately after turning in notice, and people not getting their PTO cashed out if they did not provide notice. Just curious what experiences others have had?
