Which is the correct one?

neural foramina - Sewprano

neuroforaminal - found on Google many times - sm - sammypot

Gets confusing sometimes! I usually google and the most "hits" I get is what I usually go with. However, either way has to be okay.

I don't want to offend anyone, but please do not rely on wiki.answers, answers.yahoo, and the like, as they are not reliable sources for proper medical terminology. Please refer to the link below.

I could not find "neuroforaminal" in Stedman's or Dorland's medical dictionary. That is not to say that the term isn't used, but it is not a real term.

Thank you for saying that to actually use a book is a good idea. You can find any wrong term AD NAUSEUM by doing a Google. (Diabetes melitis, okay?) Majority on Google does NOT mean it's correct. I'll perhaps go with a majority Google for a piece of surgical equipment not found in my surgical book, but but not for actual medical terminology which has been around longer than the Internet, for goodness sake. Neural foraminal was always neural foraminal in every reliable reference book known before the Internet. Then somehow a punch into Google has become the be-all-end-all answer. Nope.
