Pay reduction for some platforms question - ss

Seem to remember at one point they were reducing percentage paid on some platforms, there was a lot of hubaloo and then (if I am not mistaken) they went back on this and allowed them to be paid for full lines typed.
Is my memory correct?
Going by this I wonder if there is a ray of sunshine at the end of this long, long tunnel. Perhaps they will make further adaptations to this plan as they figure out it isn't workign well. This HEENT/HENT crap is totally unreal and that is just one example.
Have read that some TSMs have encouraged people to hang on until the dust settles, are they blowing smoke up our collected? I am trying to hang on until I see what they do with the PTO situation. That too will be somewhat of a calculus formula probably.
Emdat Clinic 360 still has 5% reduction of lines. Not sure about the others. - nm

Why is it that we receive a reduced line rate when the blanks cannot be filled in by QA either? I've checked my feedback and most of the QA markers I left were also left blank by the QA person. I received a phone call today that my primary account has demanded a "flat-rate price reduction" so my pay will also be reduced for my standard transcription line rate to "accomodate the client" and not lose the account. Could somebody explain to me what a platform is? I am being asked what kind of platforms I am familiar with and I'm not sure what they are looking for here. I have always done my reports in Word or Clarus in Windows XP, received my files via the internet through an FTP or through digital voice through a C-phone, and used only a SmartType word expander as addition software. Has anyone here turned down a job with an MTSO because their platform is crappy? My employer's platform is TERRIBLE!! You have go through 15 mouse commands (no hot keys!) to perform the simplest function such as signing off a job. I have never seen more inefficient software in my life!!
