In previous issues, I always scanned the "Employers Guide" pages in the back of the journal, and there were many employers listed - at least two pages' worth. Dear Employer: Please make client sheets clear. I am so tired of reading a client sheet over and over trying to understand how something is supposed to be done. There's got to be a better way. So I graduated in February and began the job hunt. Finally I receive one call back from a local company. To date I have attended two seperate interviews. The second time I was supposed to test but the computer was not working so a couple of weeks later they schedule testing at one of the transcriptionist house. I test and the computer freezes up. Could somebody explain to me what a platform is? I am being asked what kind of platforms I am familiar with and I'm not sure what they are looking for here. I have always done my reports in Word or Clarus in Windows XP, received my files via the internet through an FTP or through digital voice through a C-phone, and used only a SmartType word expander as addition software.
